About me…
My name is Sarah Zentjens. Born, raised and located in The Netherlands.
Animals have always been a major part of my life, especially dogs and horses. Love and passion for nature are in my genes.
During my life I kept horses, dogs, rabbits, goats, chickens and many more animals. Currently I have three horses and three dogs. I obtained my diploma’s for dog and horse trainer developing my skills in animal handling, which is very useful during photoshoots.
I developed a deep passion for photography given my love to capture the spirit and soul of animals to show the feelings, moods and character of animals to the world. I found out that for me photography is a great way to express my emotions through my pictures.
Further i like to photograph animals with their human companion, to capture their connection. I prefer to let the situation speak for itself, instead of a posed or preplanned picture. I just let the animal, the person and environment tell the story and capture the unique personality of every individual. For all involved get comfortable takes time. Therefore I do not work with time slots and the shoot will be a relaxing experience for my models -:)
